How do you choose the right headboard mounting brackets? If you are buying it together with one of our bed bases, we will take care of the right bracket (choose standard brackets); if you already have a bed base, simply measure the height and thickness of the base frame, as in the image below:

If your bed base has slightly different depth measurements, for example 7x2.5 cm, the 7x2 will be fine, using washers as spacers.

Total height of the headboard

The total height of the single headboard from the floor depends on the height of the bed base, or rather of the base surface, which also varies according to the height of the legs and of the base's tubular frame. Once the headboard is fitted, the gap from the base surface is approximately 14 cm (the "clearance" between the base surface and the headboard), which must be added to the 60 cm of the headboard itself. For example, if the base surface is 30 cm from the floor, the total height will be 60+14+30=104 cm from the floor. Clear, isn't it? For more information, contact us.
