The armchair bed has only one seating spot, while the sofa with a 120 cm mattress, which is a queen size, has comfortable seating for two people. With a 140 cm French size mattress, when closed it is a three-seater, while with a standard 160 cm wide double mattress, it has 3 maxi, very comfortable seats when seated.

Difference with the Prontoletto
The sofa bed has its own structure (photo 1 at the top), i.e., its own backrest, which contains a double, single, queen size mattress, etc., and uses large cushions for seating. Once opened, the mattress inside extends, resting on an electro-welded or slatted base. When closed, the mattress folds back into itself.
The "prontoletto" is a more affordable solution, more suitable for a second home by the sea. It is covered in fabric with the difference that it does not have seat cushions when closed; that is, you sit directly on the mattress which, thanks to a special cut, folds to follow the shape of the seat. The backrest also has no padding; the mattress itself acts as a backrest, folding backward.
