What to know about Gransasso Gabrielli

1. Is Gransasso a pocket spring mattress? No, Gransasso has traditional Bonnell springs, which provide more even support. Pocket springs are independent and therefore allow greater adaptation, because each spring adjusts to the weight pressing on it. Gransasso is a mattress for those who are not looking for a contouring mattress, but a hard, almost pushing-back one, like the mattresses of the past, which is why it has thick-gauge biconical springs. If you are looking for a firm independent spring mattress, we recommend King Air Superior with pocket springs and firm support.
2. Is Gransasso suitable for side sleepers? Sleeping on your side is possible on Gransasso, especially if you have a sturdy rather than slender build, so that when you lie on your side you do not need adaptation, because you are not as angular as a slight person.
3. Is it recommended for sleeping on your front and back? Yes, although it is better suited to sleeping on your front than on your back.
4. Is it suitable for people with obesity? Gransasso is recommended for people with obesity with a BMI (body mass index) between 30 and 39, i.e. mild to moderate obesity. The best mattress for severe obesity and super obesity (BMI 40 to 60) is Kilimangiaro Gabrielli.

Firm orthopaedic spring mattress

Part of the new generation of orthopaedic spring mattresses, Gransasso has 700 Bonnell springs covered by a 2 cm Strong-Flex panel, which provides the compactness needed to support weights even above 120 kg. Thanks to its reinforced edges it does not deform even when you sit on the edge. The double-layer padding makes it comfortable despite its strength and central support.

Is a hard mattress good for your back?

A firm or particularly supportive mattress is appreciated not only by people with obesity or a higher weight, but also by those who sleep on their front, face down, or are looking for a non-deforming mattress with little give.

Padded quilted cover

The cover is made of cotton jersey with an attractive pattern. Thick padding on both sides, four fabric handles for positioning and the aerators are the features of the cover. In the Deluxe removable cover version the aerators are not needed. Gransasso is a hypoallergenic mattress.
