The 100% carded wool pillow

In the beginning there was wool, and there still is today. The beneficial properties of wool still make it the best choice, not only because it is a natural fibre but also because it is thermoregulating. Made with 1.2 kg of wool in a damask 100% white cotton cover with zip. The zip is not just for inspection: it allows you to empty the pillow for washing or re-carding the wool (on all pillows except the oversized king size).

The artisan company Gabrielli stands out for its handmade pillows, textiles and mattresses, a tradition that has continued for over 50 years. The production method is still the same. The wool is bought from certified producers, washed and combed (treated according to EC standards) and sorted, then carded and used to fill the 100% cotton cover by hand.

Sustainable and recyclable

Wool is immortal: through carding it can be reused to make a new pillow, a top pillow, a mattress and so on, unlike synthetic fibres or other raw materials used for padding, which must be disposed of after their first use.

Standard Italian size 50x78 cm. Also available as a 65x65 cm square pillow and king size 50x90 cm. Gabrielli also makes other sizes to the centimetre on request. Contact us for information.
