This is more than a traditional folding guest bed. With a 120x195 cm sleeping surface, it provides the width of a European small double bed while retaining the convenience of a foldable design.

This unusually generous size offers more sleeping space, stability and comfort than a standard single folding bed. It is suitable for guest accommodation, holiday homes, hotels or regular use when a permanent bed cannot be installed.

16 cm Acquafoam mattress included

The folding bed is available complete with a 120x195 cm Acquafoam mattress approximately 16 cm deep.

The flexible foam allows the mattress to follow the folding movement of the bed while providing balanced support during sleep. Its indicative firmness rating of 6 out of 10 offers a medium-firm feel, combining support with a moderate level of cushioning.

Reinforced 15-slat bed base

The bed base consists of 15 wooden slats, each approximately 60 mm wide and 8 mm thick. The perimeter frame is made from 25x25 mm cold-rolled tubular steel.

A central reinforcing beam supports the slats across the wider 120 cm sleeping surface, improving stability and helping distribute weight more evenly across the frame.

Maximum stated capacity of 200 kg

The steel frame, reinforced perimeter and central supporting beam provide a maximum stated load capacity of 200 kg.

This load capacity makes the bed suitable for heavier users while maintaining stable support. The stated figure refers to the maximum total load supported by the frame and does not replace the need to select a mattress with suitable firmness and comfort.

Automatic opening and comfortable sleeping height

When the bed is opened, its mechanism automatically raises the slatted base to approximately 30 cm above the floor.

With the included 16 cm mattress, the complete sleeping surface reaches an approximate height of 46 cm, making it more similar to a conventional bed than to a low folding camp bed.

Folded dimensions

When folded, the bed measures approximately 120x55x95 cm, respectively width, depth and height.

Before ordering, we recommend checking doorways, corridors, lifts, landings and staircases. The 120 cm width provides a particularly comfortable sleeping area, but also makes the folded bed wider than a standard single model.

Integrated wheels make it easier to move and store the bed when folded.

Ordering the frame without a mattress

The folding bed can also be requested without the mattress. In this case, choosing a mattress of the correct size is not enough: it must also be sufficiently flexible to follow the folding movement of the frame.

We recommend a flexible foam mattress with an indicative density of approximately 30 kg/m³ and a maximum depth of 16 cm. A thinner mattress may also be compatible, while rigid mattresses, sprung mattresses and products not designed to be folded are not recommended.
