In the classic Divan with Bed Frame version, the edge of the bed is 32 cm thick, with a choice of 4 bed frame models. The bed frame has a removable cover on all models. Choose the height from the floor you prefer. Choice of feet in various heights from 10 cm to 15 cm for easy cleaning under the bed: light wood, dark wood, white, or 12 cm aluminium feet.

Frequently asked questions about the divan bed without headboard

1. How high off the floor is the divan bed? From 10 to 15 cm, depending on the feet you choose, in natural or painted wood. Aluminium feet are available in a 12 cm height;
2. What are the actual overall dimensions? Always allow 10 cm more in width and length than the bed base you choose: for example, 160x190 gives external dimensions of 170x200 cm;
3. How much storage space is there? The storage compartment, in the storage bed version, is 22 cm high and 162x193 cm in width and length (with a standard 160x190 cm bed base);
4. How high is the bed frame? The padded edge of the bed, or bed frame, is 27 cm high as standard; a 31 cm high version is available, contact us if you are interested;
5. Does the bed have a removable cover? Yes, the cover is stretched on and fastened with Velcro.

The divan bed arrives at your home disassembled; the cover, in fabric or faux leather, is fitted after assembling the bed frame by stretching it on, so it can be removed easily. The bed base (optional, to be added) is in one piece. We offer assembly throughout Italy (costs shown at step 3 of the checkout process, before payment). Contact us for info.

From the drop-down menu options you can choose the type of bed. The double divan bed can be bought as bed frame only, or "with slatted bed base", in which case the bed includes the Basis bed base with a double rail under the slats: sturdy, long-lasting orthopaedic support and a perfect base for your mattress. Single-piece slats supported by two steel rails, as pictured (mattress warranties often state that they are only valid when used with suitable bed bases such as this one): quality matters not only in the bed but also in the bed base.

If you want to fit another bed base from our site to the bed, select "bed frame only" and, after adding the bed to your basket, add another bed base; motorised bed bases are also suitable.
