Strong Down Pillow

Strong Down Pillow

Goose down pillow

Extra filling: 900 g of down and small feathers inside, with a soft cotton cover outside. Why is down better than feathers? Because it is made of clusters and has no pointed quill, which usually forces manufacturers to use a downproof ticking, harder than cotton, to stop the feathers coming out; this makes the cover stiffer and the pillow less soft and cosy. The extra-filled down pillow is nevertheless enveloping, not stiff, despite the extra filling.
