The double version is divided into 2 bays, i.e. each of the 2 sleeping areas has its own row of slats and the slats are recessed in the centre, but unlike traditional bed bases there is no problem of the centre rail pressing in the middle, because the slats are curved and, above all, the slat holders are raised well up, aligning the slats with the rail.
