Bedside tables
The nightstand is not just a useful and functional complement to the bedroom, but also an indispensable design element to complete the bedroom's setup. The right nightstand adds a touch of class to the bedroom, enhancing it and making it more modern if it has a linear style, or classic with oak wood colors.
**Designer Nightstands**
The nightstand doesn't necessarily have to match the bed's design, nor its color or essence/finish. Instead, it should be coordinated with the dresser and/or wardrobe. For example, imagine having an upholstered bed or a wrought iron bed and preferring a nightstand with drawers, therefore made of wood. Obviously, the essence of the nightstand will be very different from that of the bed. It's your taste that will lead you to choose the nightstands and their design, not pragmatic considerations about colors and finishes; it's about the style you want to give your bedroom.
**Modern Nightstands**
Contemporary or modern nightstands are characterized by slim lines, without handles, with push-and-pull mechanisms or hidden groove handles for a modern and light design. They are not always symmetrical; for instance, the left nightstand might have an insert of a different color. Two-tone nightstand models are available, with the body different from the top, to better integrate into the bedroom.
**Narrow Nightstand Dimensions**
Often in a bedroom, there's a need to save space with nightstands that are as narrow as possible. How big is a nightstand? The minimum width measurements are 45 cm, depth 40 cm, height from 40 to 60 cm, but there are also minimalist nightstands as tall as 35 cm. The narrowest nightstand on the market is from the Colombini Golf line:
