What size should a small double headboard be? The headboard for a 120 cm bed comes in 2 sizes to choose from. Usually the preferable headboard is 5 cm wider on each side than the mattress: for example, for a 120 cm mattress the right headboard is 130 cm wide; if you prefer it wider, it is also available in 135 cm.

How do you choose the right headboard mounting brackets? If you are buying in combination with one of our bed bases, we will take care of the right bracket (choose standard brackets); if you already have a bed base, simply measure the height and thickness of the base, as in the image below:
If your bed base has slightly different depth measurements, for example 7x2.5 cm, 7x2 will be fine using washers to add thickness.
