Designed specifically for children and pre-teens, approximately 10 to 14 years old, Bobby is made from resilient, eco-friendly open-cell Acquafoam, developed to provide improved breathability. It can be used on virtually any type of bed base, including slatted bases and solid wooden platforms. The internal foam core is 8 cm high, with approximately 2/3 cm of external padding, for a total mattress height of approximately 10/11 cm. The 30 kg/m³ calibrated-density foam provides a medium, non-rigid level of support specifically suited to children and teenagers up to approximately 12/14 years of age. For body weights above 60 kg, this mattress may feel too soft; in this case, we recommend choosing a firmer low-profile mattress (click here).

An important feature of this mattress is its foam density. Many similar low-cost mattresses use foams with densities of only 18 or 21 kg/m³, which are generally more prone to losing support and developing permanent indentations over time.

Who is this mattress recommended for?

Suitable for children from an early age through their teenage years. The main component of Baby Bobby is Acquafoam, an advanced and highly adaptable foam material. It is not Memory Foam.

This mattress is particularly suitable for children's beds, bridge beds, fold-away beds, sofa beds, pull-out beds and compact bed frames. It is available in standard children's sizes such as 80x190 cm and 90x200 cm, as well as smaller sizes such as 70x180 cm. The mattress contains no springs and no Memory Foam. Its open-cell Acquafoam structure promotes airflow and breathability.
