Natural Bio wool mattress
The Gabrielli Bio wool mattress is entirely handmade using a generous quantity of natural wool enclosed in a cotton or linen and cotton cover. It contains no polyurethane foam, synthetic padding or metal springs.
Its dense natural filling provides a comfortably supportive feel, while the reinforced double edge helps the mattress retain its shape and stability over time.
What makes this wool mattress different?
A basic traditional wool mattress normally has a softer perimeter and a less compact filling. With regular use, it may therefore lose its shape and develop depressions sooner.
The Bio model has a reinforced double edge and contains approximately 50% more wool than a basic traditional wool mattress. This denser construction improves stability and allows the mattress to retain its shape for longer before carding and regeneration become necessary.
A mattress made entirely from natural materials
With a traditional wool mattress, you know exactly what you are sleeping on: natural wool enclosed in cotton or linen and cotton fabrics, without foam layers or metal springs.
Wool is naturally breathable and thermoregulating. It absorbs moisture, helps release excess heat and quickly adapts to body temperature during colder nights.
The wool filling can be removed, cleaned, carded and used again. This allows the mattress to be regenerated instead of being completely replaced, extending the useful life of its natural materials.

Comfort and support
The dense wool filling provides firm but naturally elastic support. Unlike memory foam, wool does not create an enveloping sensation and allows air to circulate through the mattress.
As this is a traditional mattress made entirely from natural fibres, its feel and appearance may change gradually during use. Regular turning and periodic professional carding help redistribute the wool and preserve its comfort.
Entirely handmade in Italy
Each Bio wool mattress is individually made by skilled Italian craftsmen. The wool is distributed inside the cover and the mattress is shaped, closed and finished by hand.
This artisanal construction allows us to produce both standard and custom sizes. Small differences in height, weight and finishing are natural characteristics of a handmade product.

The mattress can be produced in single, double, European King, Super King and custom sizes. Please contact us if the required size is not available among the selectable options.
Because this is a handmade product, production time must be added to the estimated delivery time. For international orders and custom dimensions, contact us before purchasing if you require confirmation of production and shipping times.
