Extra-high and extra-firm pillow
Alto e Duro is designed to provide considerably firmer support than a standard fibre pillow. It contains approximately 1,400 g of high-density hypoallergenic polyester fibre, densely distributed and compressed to create a compact pillow with limited sinkage.
This is not a conventionally soft pillow. It adapts slightly under pressure while maintaining a stable and highly supportive feel.
Initial height and natural settling
The pillow has an initial height of approximately 18 cm. As it is made from compressed fibre rather than a rigid foam core cut to a fixed size, its height may vary slightly.
During the first period of use, the filling naturally settles and reaches an approximate height of 15/16 cm, while continuing to provide very firm support.
A deliberately firm pillow
The generous quantity of filling makes Alto e Duro suitable for customers who find traditional pillows too low or too yielding and specifically want a high, compact and rigid sleeping surface.
Pillow choice should always take into account sleeping position, shoulder width, body shape and personal comfort preferences. If you have neck or postural problems, seek professional advice before choosing an unusually high pillow.
Who is it suitable for?

- customers who prefer a pillow without a Memory Foam or latex core.
Who is it not suitable for?
This pillow is not recommended for anyone who prefers a low, medium, soft or deeply cushioning pillow. If you have never used such a high and firm pillow before, the 1,300 g model may provide a more gradual alternative.
Breathable fibre filling
The pillow contains no solid polyurethane, Memory Foam or latex core. Its height and firmness are created entirely by the generous amount of densely packed hypoallergenic polyester fibre.
The fibre construction allows air to circulate through the pillow. It can be plumped and reshaped periodically to redistribute the filling evenly.
Alternative uses
In addition to being used as a sleeping pillow, Alto e Duro can provide firm back support on a bed or sofa, support the upper body while reading or raise the legs during relaxation.
Washing and care
The pillow is machine washable according to the temperature and programme stated on its care label. After washing, redistribute the filling and allow the pillow to dry completely before use.
