The benefits of a horsehair pillow

Why choose a horsehair pillow? First of all, you will avoid contact of the face, eyes and nose with polyurethanes, polyester and other synthetic materials, furthermore thanks to the beneficial properties of this fibre, the horsehair pillow is able to absorb humidity, dissipating it quickly compared to synthetic fibres, thanks to its natural thermoregulating properties. Unlike vegetable horsehair, it is soft and silky. Made with 800 g of pure horsehair in a 100% cotton damask cover with an inspection zip or to remove the cover from the pillow.

Certified hypoallergenic horsehair

But does horsehair cause allergies? Certified horsehair is checked, washed and sanitized with natural products, not treated with chemical products to improve its performance; it is only woven to make it fluffy and soft. Dust mite allergy, on the other hand, as we know is caused by dust that settles on any type of material, it is not a prerogative of natural padding or fabrics, therefore what is recommended is to keep the pillow protected with a pillow cover under the pillowcase.

Excellent
I bought this pillow because I have not used a horsehair pillow in 35 years. This pillow was immediately comfortable and I slept very soundly. The horsehair is exquisite. If you are not used to horsehair it takes a couple of nights to get used to, but this pillow is stuffed nicely and is super comfortable.

Buon cuscino ma duro e alto
Io sudo molto alla notte e ho sempre letto che i cuscini in crine erano ideali per quelli come me e appena ne ho trovato uno in sconto made in Italy e di qualità l'ho preso. Che dire effettivamente appena si sposta la testa il cuscino dissipa il calore e l'umidità facendo diventare subito fresca la zona. Ovviamente si suda ugualmente ma almeno si sta su una superficie fresca. Il contro è che il cuscino è molto duro e alto per i miei gusti (tipo i cuscini in memory foam per chi da disturbi di cervicale) quindi sono servite varie notti dormite cosi cosi per abituarmi ma ora va bene. In più nel pacco (sottovuoto) non erano presenti istruzioni per la sua manutenzione e lavaggio. Secondo me con un po' meno di imbottitura (cosa che proverò a fare dato che è raggiungibile aprendo una semplice zip) diventa perfetto
