Gabrielli is an artisan company with over 50 years of experience in the handcrafted production of pillows, textiles and mattresses. The production method still follows the same traditional approach. Kapok is sourced from selected suppliers, then washed, combed and prepared in accordance with applicable CE standards before being carded and used to hand-fill the 100% cotton cover.

Vegetable Cashmere

Kapok is sometimes known as vegetable cashmere because of its softness and exceptional lightness. The fibre is obtained from the pods of the Kapok tree and is made up largely of air, which gives it its characteristic lightweight feel. Because Kapok cultivation does not normally require intensive pesticide use, it is considered a particularly natural plant-based filling material.
