Solid wood bed bases
Solid wood slatted base, sturdy, made of Swedish pine. Our selection of slatted bases is made of solid wood, not laminated wood or plywood, but solid wood. A handcrafted, custom-made bed.
High-thickness solid wood slatted bases
Solid wood slatted bases are characterized by being made from solid wood, like that taken from a pine tree; both the frame, with its 40-millimeter thickness, and the 2 cm thick slats, are made of solid wood. The solid wood slatted base is finished and painted with an ecological open-pore varnish, in various wood-colored finishes, such as beech, walnut, and cherry, and other colors like antique walnut, honey, glossy white, and pastel white. Other colors can be made upon request.
Solid wood or plywood?
The solid wood slatted base guarantees sturdiness, but also malleability, useful for processing, and flexibility. This is why the double version has two central legs to better distribute the weight of a couple, with guaranteed support up to 300 kg.
